Jean R. Genier

Technical knowledge. Analytical skills. But most of all, insight. Ask Jean Genier what he gained by starting his fifteen-year career at Veritaaq as an IT consultant and it is this invaluable asset that comes to the fore: “My experience as a consultant grounds my understanding of the business as a whole.”

After completing a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Systems Engineer Development program, Jean worked as a systems engineer with EDS Canada’s client General Motors. Building on this technical knowledge, Jean joined Veritaaq as a consultant in 1996 and was quickly placed at the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. In 1998, Jean was hired as Director of Finance where he began translating insight gained in the field into success for Veritaaq’s clients, consultants and employees.

Today, as CFO, Jean’s guidance of Veritaaq’s business operations provides a foundation for the firm’s continued growth in the industry.
